- Review your 2019.
Yes, the first thing you can do is to review your past year. Understand what went wrong and what went right.
The more you understand your past, the better you can create the future that you want. Learn from your experience and the lessons you have been through.
2. Find out what you want to achieve in 2020.
Yes, the next thing you want to do is to find out your goals for 2020. You want to know your target and what kind of results you want to achieve in this brand-new year.
Really take your time to think about the kind of life you want to have. Start with 2020, make it your best year ever.
Make it a positive year that will completely change your life.
3. Make a plan.
Having goals is just not enough. You need to have a plan too. What you can do is to write down the step-by-step action plan of what you need to do to achieve your goals.
When you have a plan of action, you give your mind a clear instruction of what you want it to do. It helps a lot.
Planning is extremely important, so, don’t skip this step.
4. Act.
Yes, you must act. If you’re not doing anything, your plan will go to waste. You will never achieve your goals.
There is no point to have goals and make plans if you don’t execute them. The key is to take massive and consistent action. Stick to your plan until you succeed, no matter what.
5. Review.
This is where most people get it wrong. They thought that goal setting is a one-step process and that all they need to do is to just write down their goals.
Wrong. Goal setting is more than that. You must review your goals, your progress, and measure your results if you want to succeed. So, schedule one day out of every week to do your review.
Finally, be absolutely committed. If you want to make 2020 your best year ever, you must commit to your goals. Don’t just talk or think about them, commit to them.
Do whatever you can to make 2020 the year that will totally bring your life to a higher level.
