Unleashing the Power of ChatGPT:

The Future of Learning and Writing!

As writers and authors, we know that becoming an expert in our craft takes time and effort. The 10,000 hours rule, popularized by Malcolm Gladwell’s book Outliers, states that it takes 10,000 hours of practice to become an expert in any given field. But simply practicing isn’t enough — we also need to consume knowledge.

It’s often said that we should read (at least) 5 books on a subject before we can confidently write on the topic. However, managing the personal knowledge we gain from these books can be challenging. We need to find effective ways to take notes and figure out the nuances of personal knowledge management (PKM).

That’s why websites like (12 min) have become popular. They offer a summarized version of the key concepts in a book, saving writers time and effort. And now, there’s a new tool in town that can take this even further — ChatGPT and Artificial Intelligence.

With Thematic Narrative Analysis, ChatGPT can identify the key themes and frameworks in a book and provide a tailored analysis based on the reader’s interests. This allows us to get a summary of the essential concepts and ideas, update and refine our understanding of a subject, and ultimately write more informed and impactful content.

As solo entrepreneurs managing our writing business, we read tons of books, make highlights, build connections, and create new ideas, insights, and angles that can help us write informative content for our readers. But summarizing books consistently can be time-consuming and painful, often getting put off until later.

ChatGPT has the answer. It can perform incredible feats of “qualitative data research,” even into books themselves using Thematic Analysis. So if you’re struggling with personal knowledge management or finding time to consistently summarize books, give ChatGPT a try and see how it can enhance your writing process.

It’s like having a free research assistant at your fingertips. Give it a try and tell me what you think.
