【YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG】
Not the way a coach should start a call.
I’ll never forget being on the receiving end of these words.
They came from a so-called business “expert” who thought she was helping me by telling me how I should be running my business.
She TOLD me that I should move my offices… become an intern to well known best of the best {with no pay!}… then work my way into a paid position and up through the ranks… before I could earn the right to finally start my own business … after compromising my vision and my values for decades.

(Spoiler alert) I didn’t follow this ‘coaching’ because somehow in my gut I knew it wasn’t my path.
I trusted my intuition and instead decided to follow the path that I made for myself. I always knew that dancing to the beat of my own drum was the right way to go. I reason I hired this “coach” was to save me time and learn how I could be far more effective, efficient, and productive in everything I wanted to achieve.
Unfortunately, a large majority of entrepreneurs have this same experience I did. They may not all as cold and direct as YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG, but the result is the same. A sense of feeling defeated.
While this woman (and others like her) may think they have the best intentions for the people they want to help… the idea that there’s only one path to success is so detrimental.
Coaches and good intended are keeping so many people from finding their own, unique path to the vision they hold in their hearts.
Luckily more and more people are {finally} waking up to this realization.
In fact, if 2020 has shown us anything… it’s that the old rules of entrepreneurship no longer apply.
Have you noticed that COVID has blown apart all of the ways business used to be done and ushered in even greater possibilities for entrepreneurs everywhere?
All a sudden… location doesn’t matter, we have more space for self-care, more options have opened up for new streams of revenue, there’s more flexibility in how we connect with customers…

The entrepreneurs who have embraced the change and unapologetically danced to their unique beat have truly blossomed this year.
Whereas the entrepreneurs who have contracted and backed away from the changes, wanting things to go “back to normal” and resisting the evolution we’re being faced with…. Well, they have had a really tough year.
It’s really taken an attitude of trust, unwavering confidence, and a rock-solid faith in both the vision you have and the Entrepreneur you were born to be.
Moving into 2021 isn’t going to be any different — the landscape of business is continuing to evolve.
Business and entrepreneurship will never be the same as they were pre-COVID.
Will you embrace the evolution of business? Or will you resist it?
Those who can flow with the changes… who can unapologetically lead themselves to their vision… who can trust their power, resiliency, and the unique path forward… They will be the ones who come out on top with flourishing businesses, fulfilling lives, and a life-long legacy in front of them.

The biggest gift from this pandemic lies in you becoming more you… making your own rules in your business… and claiming your unique vision {plus, your power to create it}.

You don’t need to be someone you’re not. You don’t need to play by rules you didn’t write. You don’t need to pretend or “fake it” until you make it.
All you need is to tap into your potent essence, own your innate story, and bring it all into your business.
